70-Year Journey of Construction, Innovation & Modernization (1956 - 2026)

May 19, 1956

Establishment of X10 Ordnance Depot in Ha Ly, Hai Phong (originated from Z64 arms repair unit), marking the foundational milestone of Z117 Factory.

January 12, 1967

X10 Enterprise was officially renamed V117 Factory, relocated to Soc Son (Hanoi), tasked with manufacturing mechanical components, fuses, detonators, and arms parts.

1972 – 1975

Successfully modernized and manufactured nearly 12,000 track links for PT-76 amphibious tanks, crucially empowering the Southern Liberation Campaign. Renamed to Z117 Factory post-liberation.

December 2005

Conferred the title 'Labor Hero in the Renovation Era' for breakthroughs in market economy adaptation, dual-use industrial development, and global export expansion.

April 14, 2010

Reorganized into 17 Mechanical One Member LLC – A State National Defense & Security Enterprise under the General Department of Defense Industry.

May 19, 2015

Z117 Factory was honored with the title 'Hero of the People’s Armed Forces' for outstanding contributions during the resistance war.

2021 – 2025
